Rowan Francis Taylor

Since graduating from Pitzer College in May 2025, Rowan has been working as a Freelance Video Producer and Content Creator for Outward Bound California and the Institute of Human Development (IHD) at UC Berkeley — directing, editing, and producing short-form video content for social media across both organizations.

Alongside freelance work, Rowan directed two documentary films and led a go-to-market campaign for an early-stage startup, developing end-to-end strategy from user research through partnership outreach.

In November 2025, Rowan joined DOC NYC as a Guest Services Coordinator and is now part of the team at SFFILM — supporting visiting filmmakers and industry guests at one of the country's most celebrated international film festivals.

By combining strategic thinking with storytelling and design, Rowan creates community-focused work that drives meaningful engagement and lasting impact.
